Formula 1 takes a hammering

Formula 1 has come in for a fair chunk of bad press on Monday as newspapers reacted to the tedious race in Hungary on Sunday. The Times in London headlined its story "Schumacher's history lesson leaves Formula One yawning" while The Independent reported that "Ferrari sportingly arranged a demonstration of how to shoot fish in a barrel". The newspaper followed up on Tuesday with a message for the sport.

"Sunday's race sounded a thousand alarm bells, but it's tempting to believe that only those outside the motorhomes in the paddock are truly listening to the warning.."
