Minardi signs up Herbert
Johnny Herbert and Marc Gene are to join the Minardi driver line-up for the forthcoming F1x2 Charity Grand Prix at Kyalami in South Africa. The event will feature a fleet of Minardi two-seaters being raced against one another and it is expected that as many as 80,000 racing-starved South Africans will turn up for the event, which will see Herbert and Gene racing with the likes of Nicholas Kiesa, Gianmaria Bruni, Zsolt Baumgartner, Bas Leinders, plus South African rising star Alan Van der Merwe.
