The new Toyota 104B will make its F1 debut at Hockenheim later this week. The new car given its first shakedown tests at Jerez last week and it is hoped that the new car will be a more competitive package than previous cars from Cologne although the new aerodynamic part were not run in Spain.

The new car was tested by Cristiano da Matta but it was impossible for the Brazilian to make any judgement on the new car and thing were not helped by some electrical problems in the course of the test.
