Jordan and Dubai
The Emirate of Dubai has announced that it intends to buy control of a Formula 1 team and will run the team from Dubai, while leaving the operational base in Britain. There have been rumours for weeks about the possible sale of Jordan Grand Prix to the Dubai royal family but at the moment Jordan says that nothing is done.
"The team is frequently associated with such stories," the team said in a statement on Saturday morning. "Jordan will always issue a press release if it concludes an agreement with sponsors or investors and unless or until there is something to report the team has no comment."
