More changes in Formula 3000

Perhaps as an illustration of the precarious financing in Formula 3000 at the moment, there have been a lot of midseason changes in the driver line-ups in the FIA International Championship. The latest announcement is that Belgian youngster Jan Heylen has left Mikke van Hool's Astromega, which is now looking for a replacement for the rest of the season. The team will continue to run Niko Verdonck. The team is rumoured to be interested in signing up Jeffrey van Hooydonk if his drive with Coloni is taken by Patrick Friesacher, who recently left Super Nova Racing.
