Glock gets points on his F1 debut

The disqualification of Williams and Toyota from the Canadian Grand Prix means that Timo Glock has joined the select band of Formula 1 drivers who have scored points on their F1 debuts. Glock finished two laps down on Michael Schumacher in 11th place but with fours cars in front of him being thrown out of the results he moves up to seventh and scores two points

"What an unbelievable development," Glock said. "I can't explain how it feels to find out I scored two points in my first F1 race. It is perfect. It's great for the team."

Jordan also gained an additional point for Nick Heidfeld.
