Goodbye Scott Dixon

Scott Dixon had dreams of moving from the Indy Racing League and becoming a star in Formula 1. Earlier this year the New Zealand driver had two tests with the BMW Williams team but it is fairly clear that the relationship did not gel and our sources say that there was no chance for Dixon with Williams. There was also some talk about a possible deal with Toyota in F1 but obviously that door is also closed as Dixon has now signed a new long-term deal with his current employer Target Chip Ganassi Racing.

"There is more that we can do together," Dixon says. "I want to defend my championship and I want to win the Indianapolis 500."
