Silverstone re-submits hotel plans

The British Racing Drivers' Club has re-submitted a planning application for a 200 bedroom, 4 star hotel at Silverstone to the Northamptonshire District Council The new application has addressed the concerns which caused a previous application to be rejected. The BRDC believes that concerns expressed about the original application have been resolved.

"This development is seen as part of the critical process of bringing world class facilities of the circuit to secure the future of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone," said Alexander Hooton, chief executive of the BRDC.
