Anthony Davidson had to pull out of yesterday's BAR-Honda test after just a few laps when he trapped a nerve while braking for one of the corners. Davidson was due to take part in the full four-day test but will now be replaced to give his trapped nerve time to be repaired before the Monaco GP in eight days. The team was unable to test yesterday but with the arrival of Jenson Button this morning the work can now push on. There are five teams testing at Paul Ricard: McLaren, Williams, Toyota, BAR and Jordan, while Sauber took the unusual decision to go to Silverstone where fog delayed the start of the three day test, which is being carried out using both the Grand Prix Circuit and the shorter National Circuit. The aim is to evaluate tyre choice for Monaco.
