Melbourne launches F1 "superstore"

The Australian Grand Prix will introduce a new marketing concept to Formula 1 this year with all the team's having finally agreed to sell their merchandise in the same store at the race track. According to Australian Grand Prix chairman Ron Walker the F1 superstore will sell around $3m of merchandise in the course of the Grand Prix weekend. The concept is one that the Formula One group is keen to promote and it is anticipated that the F1 superstore will be repeated at other races in the future.
