Silverstone going for a hotel

The British Racing Drivers' Club is applying for planning permission to build a hotel and conference centre in its planned Silverstone High Tech Park. An earlier planning application was withdrawn after questions were raised during the administrative process.

The move is being supported by the South Northamptonshire Council.
