Irvine gets into trouble

Motor racing drivers often consider themselves above the law and every now and then we are reminded that they are not. Yesterday in London Bow Street Magistrates Court issued an arrest warrant for Eddie Irvine, who had failed to appear in court to answer a charge that he was speeding on a motor scooter at Hyde Park Corner in London last year. The Irishman was reportedly going above the speed limit of 30mph. The offence may be of little import but the fact that Irvine did not appear in court a month ago and again failed to show this week has obviously angered the law. The warrant allows for Irvine to be bailed when he is arrested.
