Jacques Villeneuve has admitted that he is unlikely to return to Formula 1 and does not want to race in anything other than what he calls "a top car". Villeneuve said that he did get an offer from BAR but he described it as "insulting" because there was no salary involved.

Villeneuve's comments reveal a feeling of bitterness towards his former team, although he seems to have forgotten that in his years with BAR he made a huge fortune and he will never need to work for the rest of his days.
