Hamilton on pole in Korea

Lewis Hamilton announced his arrival in Formula 3 in style in Korea as he took pole position for the International Formula 3 Korea Super Prix at Changwon Raceway. The McLaren F1 team protege beat the much more experienced Nelson Piquet Junior and the Brazilian's team mate Richard Antinucci. The race will be Hamilton's third in Formula 3. The 18 year old said that his experience in Macau really helped him get the hang of street racing. Robert Doornbos is fourth on the grid ahead of Robert Kubica and the two TOM's cars of Tatsuya Kataoka and James Courtney. Adam Carroll is eighth for Carlin Motorsport despite crashing, a fate which also befell Macau Grand Prix winner Nicolas Lapierre, who will start 13th.
