Toyota outsells Ford!

Toyota has sold more vehicles in the last six months than Ford, according to The Detroit News. Toyota is challenging Ford to be the world's second biggest car manufacturer. Toyota is already ahead of DaimlerChrysler and aims to go to the top in the next few years as it attacks the light truck market in the United States, where the big American companies are strong. Toyota's attack on Formula 1 continues with team boss Ove Andersson saying that the team is aiming for fifth place in the World Championship next year.
