Michelin is intending to use some of the technology from its Formula 1 program in a new range of tires due to be launched next year. The ultra-high-performance Michelin(R) tires will go on sale next year in the United States of America. There will be four new tires for cars and one for motorcycles. The Pilot Sport PS2 features a Formula One-inspired, four-groove tread design and will be available for high performance sports cars while other high performance tires from the same range but designed for passenger cars will be unveiled later in the year.
