Minardi aim for two-seater day at Donington

Unable to hire a race track in Holland or Belgium before the end of the year, Minardi has decided to hold another of its two-seater events at Donington Park and has plans to run a total of five cars for guests and competition winners on November 25. The Minardi two-seater fleet is in constant use and there continue to be suggestions that there may be two-seater races next year on Sunday mornings as Grands Prix in order to offer something more to the spectators at F1 events without support races. The team bosses have discussed the concept of two-seaters being painted up in team colors and raced against one another with VIP guests in the cars. At the moment there is no confirmation that the idea will be adopted but we hear that it is still being discussed.
