The future of Jacques Villeneuve

There has been a lot of rumoring in Formula 1 circles about the future of Jacques Villeneuve with the latest suggestions being that Jacques could become a third driver at Renault (impossible with the new rules and unlikely as it is hard to see why Jacques would want such a job) or that he might join Jaguar with backing from Red Bull.

The latter story is more likely as Red Bull is aiming for the US market where Jacques has more profile than most of the other F1 drivers.

However our sources at Jaguar Racing said yesterday that there is only about five percent chance of the Red Bull deal going on but it is not clear why the deal is currently not developing as it would seem to suit everybody.
