Mark Webber has been named as a fourth director of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association. The organization acts as a voice for the drivers, particularly in safety matters, and works closely with the FIA on improving safety at the racing circuits.

The other directors are Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard and Jarno Trulli. Webber is the first of the new generation of drivers to take on the role.
