An auction of memorabilia for a good cause

Eight months ago Formula 1 photographer Russell Batchelor's son Ethan was diagnosed as having a very rare life threatening disorder called CDG (Congenital Disorder of the Glycosylation). There are only a handful of cases of the disease each year in the world and little is known which means that there is no cure known and little treatment has been developed. Batchelor has decided that he wants to try and improve that situation and in recent months has been collecting Formula 1 memorabilia which he is now going to auction on Ebay. Among the items he has collected are overalls from Michael and Ralf Schumacher, signed overalls from Giancarlo Fisichella, Ralph Firman, Olivier Panis and Justin Wilson; signed racing boots from Jacques Villeneuve and a visor and some gloves signed by Juan Pablo Montoya.

All these items will be on Ebay from 13.00 CET and will be there for 10 days. Bods can be made at http://www.ethancdgresearch.com.
