New Zealand star Dixon looks at F1

New Zealand's best known racing star Scott Dixon was a low key visitor at Monza, having a look at the Formula 1 scene and meeting some of the team bosses. Dixon is currently fighting for the championship in the Indy Racing League but has always had F1 ambitions and was being shown around by former F1 racer turned CART team owner Stefan Johansson.

The Swede revealed that he organized a secret Formula 3000 test for Dixon a few years ago which saw the Kiwi run in a Prost Formula 3000 car at Dijon. Dixon was quick but Prost decided to opt for Frenchman Sebastian Bourdais.
