Turkey now ready to start work

The Turkish authorities were due to start work on the construction of an F1 track in July but the breaking ground ceremony was delayed. That has now been rescheduled for September 10 and it is anticipated that the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be present. The Turkish government has confirmed its support for the program and a deal for a race in 2005 is due to be signed later this month.
