The International Court of Appeal on TV

The FIA has been revamping its International Court of Appeal in recent months and the first evidence of that will come on Tuesday when the proceedings of the Ralf Schumacher appeal will be televised. This will give viewers the chance to see how the appeal process works and is a major step towards giving the court more credibility.

Schumacher is trying to overturn a stewards' decision from the German GP, which ruled that he should lose 10 grid positions in Hungary for having caused an avoidable accident which involved Kimi Raikkonen and Rubens Barrichello.

Schumacher is arguing that he was not the only one to blame for the accident and that the severity of the punishment does not fit the crime.
