Schumacher in trouble

Ralf Schumacher will go to the Hungarian Grand Prix with a huge disadvantage over the opposition having been penalized for causing the accident at the start in Germany. Ralf will have to start 10 grid positions behind where he qualifies and that will mean that he will have virtually no chance of winning the race, even if he qualifies on pole position.

The FIA Stewards in Germany concluded that Ralf "began to move to his left to obtain a better racing line for the first corner". Ralf admitted that he had been "paying no intention to the position of the other cars during this manoeuvre" which the steward felt was the cause of the crash.
