Richards slams PPGI

David Richards, the boss of British American Racing, has launched a blistering attack on PPGI, the company which seized the BAR equipment on Thursday afternoon. The case was thrown out by the court in Nevers on Friday morning and the cars were due to run again in the afternoon qualifying session. Jenson Button and Jacques Villeneuve are at a disadvantage because they did not run at all in the morning but with the weather being changeable the disadvantage was reduced.

"It was a complete abuse of the legal system," said BAR team boss David Richards, "and one has to question the morals of the people involved. Now we are going to damages against them."
