Formula 1 aspirant Herta lands Andretti drive
Bryan Herta is to replace Dario Franchitti at Andretti Green Racing for the remainder of the Indy Racing League season. Franchitti has had to stand down because he needs more surgery on his back following a motorcycle accident. Herta stood in for Franchitti at the recent IRL race at Texas, where he finished fifth. Herta has scored two wins in CART in recent years, both at the Laguna Seca circuit in California.
