The people of Melbourne love the Australian GP
The Emerald Hill Times, a suburban newspaper in Melbourne, one of the few media outlets which has continued to publicize statements from Melbourne's Save Albert Park group which is opposed the Australian Grand Prix being held in Albert Park has run a survey and found that 53% of the residents of the local area are in favor of the Grand Prix with only 22% against the event. The remainder of people were neither for or against the event.
In Albert Park area the support is even higher with 60 per cent of the residents in favor of the race.
