Montagny gets his day in the sun

Franck Montagny was named as a Renault test driver this winter, in part because Renault felt the need to have a Frenchman somewhere in the program. Since then Montagny has not done much but now Renault has decided to allow him to stand in for Allan McNish in the Friday testing before the French GP at Magny-Cours. McNish will stand down but will be back in action for the team at the British GP.
