Toyota will supply customer engines

Toyota boss Ove Andersson says that Toyota will be willing to supply a customer team if called upon to do so but not until 2005. Andersson said that Toyota does not believe in the GPWC and will not join the planned series but is willing to supply engines for the good of F1.

"Toyota has never been really interested in joining the GPWC," he said. "The offer is there, at the moment I don't think Toyota believes that manufacturers should run the competition. We believe that there should be an independent organization that runs the races."

Andersson also said that he did not believe that the customer engines could be supplied for $10m.
