Sperafico wins in Austria

Coloni Motorsport driver Ricardo Sperafico won the FIA International Formula 3000 race at the A1 Ring on Saturday, finishing 3.6 seconds ahead of championship leader Bjorn Wirdheim (Arden International). Pantano finished third in Austria having worked his way past his fellow countryman Vitantonio Liuzzi, who continues to impress as the best newcomer of the year in the Red Bull Junior Team.
