Whoops!

It seems that we were wrong to credit Nelson Piquet Jr. as the youngest ever winner in British Formula 3. Back in 1992 the American racer Elton Julian won at Thruxton at the age of 17. He won that race on May 5, 1992 when he was 17 years and 263 days old. Piquet Jr. was 17 years and 290 days old when he won his first race. Thus Julian still holds the record.
