An interesting rebranding exercise

Octagon Motorsports UK is being rebranded Brands Hatch Circuits Ltd. in an effort to divorce the company from the rest of the Octagon empire. The intention is to "eliminate confusion and differentiate the division from other areas of sports marketing covered so successfully by the Octagon Group."

The company has publicly stated it is looking to sell parts of its business but says that this will not affect the commitments made to the British Grand Prix and a key objective is to complete the development of Silverstone, which it manages thanks to a deal between its parent company and the BRDC.

In addition the company owns and operates four British circuits - Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Oulton Park and Snetterton.
