APRIL 10, 2003
An amazing statistic
The controversy surrounding the Brazilian Grand Prix has obscured one remarkable fact. The race was the first since the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring in 1999 that the Ferrari team did not score a World Championship point. It was Michael Schumacher's first non-finish since Hockenheim 2001 and Rubens Barrichello's ninth consecutive retirement from his home Grand Prix.
The team is seriously frustrated about the results this year, particularly as the team believes that it still have the fastest car in F1. Ferrari hopes to stop the run of poor results with victory at Imola where the team will be racing its F2003 GA for the first time.
