Yoong finds a ride in CART

Malaysian racing star Alex Yoong is hoping that an outing this weekend in CART in Mexico will put him back into the spotlight in Malaysia and help him to find the money he needs to pay for a full season in Champ Cars. Yoong is going straight into CART without ever having tested a car but Dale Coyne Racing hopes that the outing will open doors for Yoong so he can raise the money needed to pay for the rest of the season.

"I'm confident of organising the sponsors once this race is under our belt," Yoong told pressmen in Mexico.
