Jaguar will have a sporting director

Jaguar Racing has confirmed that it is looking for a new high profile sporting director to be the team's public face. The team says that it is still looking for the right person to do the job but hopes to have someone in place before the Australian Grand Prix. The job was to have gone to Gunther Steiner but he decided that it was not the role he wanted and he has since left the team but Jaguar has not yet found a suitable replacement although several former F1 drivers have been mentioned as possible candidates, including John Watson and Martin Brundle. Nigel Mansell may also be in the frame although most of the high profile names are asking more money than Jaguar is willing to pay.
