Villeneuve knows what he has to prove

Jacques Villeneuve knows very well that this year he has to beat Jenson Button if he wants to have a career in Formula 1 in the future. And Jacques has already started out on the psychological warfare for which he is known. Villeneuve told THE SUN that he is not "starting the season thinking "I have to beat Jenson". I don't care about Jenson. He hasn't shown anything yet."

But Villeneuve did accept that if he is beaten by the less experienced British driver that "I had better stay at home next year because I would not belong in Formula 1."

It looks like the politics at BAR is going to be interesting to watch this year.
