Montoya shows off the FW25...

Ferrari joined Williams, Renault and Jordan Tuesday for the second day of testing in Valencia this week. Juan Pablo Montoya set a blistering pace in the new FW25, setting a new unofficial track record, while teammate Ralf Schumacher also worked on the new Williams challenger.

Renault's Fernando Alonso was second fastest on the day, about seven tenths off Montoya's pace. The Spaniard completed a tire program for Michelin during his 80 laps of the circuit, while team test driver, Allan McNish continued to concentrate on endurance testing of the R23.

Rubens Barrichello was third fastest for Ferrari. The Brazilian was able to complete over 110 laps in an F2002, which the team will start the 2003 season with. Barrichello concentrated on endurance and a tire program for Bridgestone.

Ralph Firman was behind the wheel of the Jordan EJ13 for the second day Tuesday. The young Briton completed nearly 50 laps while working on aerodynamic and mechanical balance as well as control system tuning of the new Ford powered machine.

Testing will continue in Valencia Wednesday.
