Beretta joins Williams

Olivier Beretta is to take over Ralf Schumacher's testing duties in the weeks ahead because the German driver is having problems with his back. It has been decided that Ralf will now wait until the new FW25 appears and leave development work to Beretta.

Beretta is not new to F1. He raced with the Larrousse team back in 1994 and in recent months he has been doing very quiet development work for Michelin using F1 machinery. Beretta is expected to concentrate on tire development for the Williams chassis.
