Gene's testing role for Telefonica World Series
Marc Gene spends a lot of his time test driving for the Williams F1 team but in his spare time he has also been doing development testing for Michelin tire compounds which are used in the Telefonica World Series, the fastest open-wheeler racing machines in Europe after Formula 1.
Gene was testing recently with Adrian Campos Motorsport to develop a new range of tires for the series in 2003. It is worth noting that during the tests Gene set a new Telefonica World Series lap record at the Valencia circuit.
