Wilson goes to BAR!

Craig Wilson, one of Williams F1's bright young engineers, has been lured away to help engineer Jenson Button at British American Racing. Wilson has spent the last three seasons working with Ralf Schumacher and got to know Button when the Englishman was racing for the team in 2000. Wilson has been with Williams since the start of 1998 when he moved to the team from Tyrrell. Wilson is not the first Williams engineer to head off to BAR, following in the footsteps of a large number of others including technical director Geoff Willis and the chief race engineer James Robinson.

Wilson will be replaced at Williams by Gordon Day, who has worked at Williams for the last four years.
