Meetings in Suzuka

FIA President Max Mosley is expected to be present at the Japanese Grand Prix and it is anticipated that he will be meeting with the various team bosses to gauge the level of support for his plans to make radical changes to the F1 rules. There is likely to be considerable opposition from the bigger teams - who have the most to lose but the smaller teams will probably support the idea - if only because it might offer them the chance to make more money.

But some of the middle order teams will be more difficult to convince and the battle for their votes will be the big issue in the next three weeks.
