Bernie, Pook and Forsythe

Bernie Ecclestone recently had a long meeting with CART's Chris Pook and Gerry Forsythe although details of what took place have not been revealed. It is not clear what this might have been about, but it could well have been about trying to convince Jacques Villeneuve to take up Forsythe's offer of a drive in 2003 with the Players Team. Pook has talked recently of his desire to see CART as a feeder series for Formula 1, and it is possible that this was also on the agenda.
