Cannabis was found in Enge's system

Thomas Enge's manager has confirmed that the young Czech tested positive for cannabis during a random drug test after the Hungarian round of the International F3000 series.

Antonin Charouz told a Czech television audience, "The substance in question is cannabis, either from marijuana or hashish. Tomas could have breathed it in at a disco. Someone could have slipped him it, baked it into something he ate or drank."

Enge, who trails points leader Sebastien Bourdais by one point going into this weekend's final round at Monza, has been summoned to appear before the World Motor Sport Council in Paris on October 1 to answer the charges. If it is found that Enge took the drug intentionally, he could face any of a number of sanctions from the FIA.
