FIA opens shop in London

The FIA Foundation has moved into its new offices on London's Trafalgar Square and as the new organisation becomes more organised we would expect to see some major new initiatives coming out of the Foundation, a charity which is funded by the lease of the F1 commercial rights to Formula One Management. The FIA will continue in its normal sporting role but the road safety and environmental work will come more under the FIA Foundation banner.

The FIA will shortly expand its operations in Paris once again after these were transferred to Geneva during a dispute with the French government over whether or not the federation should pay taxes.
