The latest from CART...
The word from America is that Gerald Forsythe has offered Jacques Villeneuve a big deal to race next year in the United States - but Jacques has to make his decision within the next 18 hours. It is anticipated that CART and Players would contribute to paying Villeneuve's salary while in F1, Jenson Button would be partnered by Olivier Panis.
With the Sauber drive gone and, by the look of it, Eddie Irvine moving back to Jordan, the number of jobs available for next year is now shrinking.
