Legal action against Arrows?

There are rumors gathering strength in Holland that a compulsory winding-up order will be sought by creditors of the Arrows team in the course of the next few weeks. This will be delayed as the High Court in London is currently in recess and will remain so until the new session begins at the start of September. It is not entirely clear who is behind the application but for some time there has been speculation that Jos Verstappen had joined forces with another major creditor to move against the embattled team. Verstappen had a winding up order prepared just before the British GP in July but decided not to move in the hope that the team could be saved.

Niki Lauda hinted on Saturday that Cosworth racing would probably be seeking legal redress from Arrows and our sources indicate that the claim would be in the region of $6m.
