Enge captures F3000 pole
Thomas Enge took another step towards capturing the F3000 championship Friday by taking the pole in Hungary, while his rival and current points leader, Sebastien Bourdais, could only manage sixth.
Enge trails Bourdais by just five points going into the tenth race of the year, with Italian Giorgio Pantano comming on strong as of late as well, winning the last round of the series.
Enrico Toccacelo will start alongside Enge at the Hungaroring Saturday, and teammate Pantano will start third. Ricardo Sperifico will start next to Pantano, while Ricardo Mauricio and Bourdais will start from the third row.
