Flood fears fade in Budapest
Fears that the city of Budapest will be disrupted this weekend by floods are now beginning to fade although the Hungarian authorities are still worried what will happen in the middle of next week when the flood waters from further up the Danube arrive in the region. At the moment the worst of the Danube flooding is happening in the Bratislava area, about 100 miles to the north-west of Budapest.
