Anthony Davidson will drive the second Minardi this weekend in Hungary and at the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa. The news will be announced shortly by the team. The British driver, who has spent the last couple of years working as a test driver with BAR was able to find the money necessary to secure the drive.
The announcement is bad news for Giorgio Pantano although the Italian can now concentrate on winning the Formula 3000 title, which he would have to have abandoned if he had gone to Minardi.
