Renault studying second windtunnel plan

Renault is already planning to build a second windtunnel at Enstone although for the moment it is expected that the development work for the future will be shared between the existing aerodynamic facility and by the Fondmetal Technologies windtunnel in Italy, with which the team has a development agreement.

Renault is hoping to make a big leap forward next year with a brand new car and a new engine. These are expected to be running in December so that everything will be ready and reliable for the start of the 2003 season. The new car, to be driven by Jarno Trulli and Fernando Alonso, is being designed by Tim Densham.
